More about SDGs
Background
SDG’s is an acronym of Sustainable Development Goals and are international goals to achieve until 2030. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice. The Goals interconnect and in order to leave no one behind, every country and person living around the world are responsible for achieving these global goals.
Furthermore, each goal has “targets” to measure how close humans are to achieving the 17 goals. In total there are 169 targets which proves that the SDGs are practical goals. Goals approached by three sides of economy, society, and environment ,every person is involved achieving these goals. Therefore, no one would be left behind.

SDGs Today
Since 2015, the SDGs started to achieve the 17 goals until 2030. However, more effort and more participant around the world is required for achieving in time. According to the UNIC some parts of the goals are achieved, but when looking around the world poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, war could still be seen. Today we should rethink about our future and start an action from familiar opportunities.

Our actions
Our action is contributing to achieve the four goals below
Goods and Accessories
By connecting producers and consumers, each side is responsible for production and consumption. When selling goods and accessories we especially look forward accomplishing responsible consumption and we create a chance to achieve the goal for students.
Workshops
For well considered consumption, education during young ages are important. The workshop we hold for children would provide education needed when living in the global world today. Moreover, by telling the story what they did or learned during our workshop, the child’s parents could also be educated.
Overall
Despite the planted forest abandoned in Japan, Japan is importing timber from countries considered by excessive logging. Therefore, by populating domestic wood, Japanese forests would regain energy and decrease serious deforestation happening around the world.
Our action would never be accomplished without our supporters. We thank all our partners for being able to do this project. Moreover, we believe that changing the society by consuming is based on the idea of partnership.
